Child Support

Relevant factors which
may be considered when determining child support
include, but may not be limited to:
Child custody arrangements;
How much parenting time each parent has;
The income of the parents;
Total number of children;

And insurance, among other factors.
If either parties
financial standing or other relevant factors
significantly change, either party may petition the
court to seek an increase or decrease in the amount of
child support to be paid. This is considered a post
judgment child support modification.
A modification to court
ordered child support may also be negotiated through
mediation, and if agreed upon by both parties, the child
support modification must still be made official by
asking the court to agree and sign-off on the child
support modification agreement.
